Package: gnome-mplayer
Version: 0.9.4-1
Severity: minor
While running, ‘gnome-mplayer’ shows a notification area icon. This
icon allows a single click to change the window status.
In this version, the change in status depends on the window's current
status: if currently minimised, display the window; if currently
displayed, minimise.
This is confusing when the window is currently displayed, but layered
below another window, or displayed on a different workspace. In those
cases, clicking the icon appears to have no effect (since the window
was not visible before clicking and is not visible again after
clicking).
Instead, clicking the notification area icon should behave similarly
to e.g. the Deluge or Decibel icon: if the window is currently
displayed *and* on the current workspace *and* at the top layer,
minimise the window; otherwise, bring the window to the current
workspace and display it at the top layer.
