Hello,

I discover a problem under enlightenment when few options are set with a particular way : in some applications (like Mozilla-Firefox, Gedit, Gpdf or Xpdf) but not to all (OpenOffice, Gimp, or Scribus aren't affected) the scroll locks up when I roll the mouse wheel fast (for example when I scroll up/down to consult rapidly a web page).

1) Just after erasing my ~/.enlightenment folder, I launch X and Enlightenment without changing anything (default E config) : no problem.

2) Next, I go to the Focus Settings and just enable the [*] Clicking in a window always raise it option : no real problem but the left arrow pointer display flickers quickly with a cross pointer when I scroll fast a page with the mouse wheel.

3) Finaly, I go to Pager Settings and disable the [] Continuously scan screen to update pager option : the scroll problem occurs as described up ; re-enabling this option or (better) disabling the [] Clicking in a window always raise it option in Focus Settings, solve it instantly. Reversing this operation will reproduce again the scroll problem, etc.

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/311312 in Debian BTS
against the package enlightenment. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/492508. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
