Package: topgit
Version: 0.5-1
Severity: wishlist
when the current working directory is not a git repo, including
tg2quilt.mk prints 'fatal: Not a git repository'. It seems harmless,
but is a bit of timewaster the first time one sees it.
It should really be possible (and not print scary messages :-) ) to
include tg2quilt outside a git repo; consider e.g. building a debian
source package.

Hi Martin;
I can't duplicate this topgit error message anymore either, so let's
close the bug for now.
All the best,
David
