Package: freeciv-client-gtk
Version: unavailable; reported 2003-05-29
Severity: wishlist

The GTK 2.0 Freeciv client package depends on too many other packages,
looks ugly, has a window size too big, and has buttons in the opposite
places of all the other software I use.

| The following NEW packages will be installed:
| defoma esound-common fontconfig freeciv-client-gtk freeciv-data libatk1.0-0
| libaudiofile0 libesd0 libexpat1 libfontconfig1 libgtk2.0-0 libgtk2.0-common
| libpango1.0-0 libpango1.0-common libxft2
| 0 packages upgraded, 15 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
| Need to get 6622kB of archives. After unpacking 22.0MB will be used.

Meanwhile I have the GTK 1.2 version, with SDL sound, already installed.
Please consider switching back to 1.2.

(Plus I want sound no SDL or Esound by default. <sigh> It's
Debian's fault I can't have my cake and eat it too.)

        Hi!

As gtk1.2 is long gone I'm closing this as a non-bug. If you think the
sound dependencies are still an issue to try to pursue feel free to
reopen the bugreport or file a new one.

 Thanks for your interest!
Rhonda
