Package: magicfilter
Version: 1.2-49
Sparc port only:
Printing a text file through magicfilter using psonly600-filter
is not possible - only garbage comes out of the printer.
The last line of /etc/magicfilter/psonly600-filter on a sparc
box contains
... pipe PATH_NENSCRIPT ...
The last line of /etc/magicfilter/psonly600-filter on a i386
box contains
... pipe /usr/bin/enscript ...
and this looks better. If I overwrite the file on the sparc box
with the one from the i386 box magicfilter works fine.
Even worse: Every filter-file that uses the enscript binary
seems to be broken on the sparc port (I didn't check all files).
Systems:
Debian GNU/Linux (sparc) 3.0, Kernel 2.2.20, SparcStation 2
Debian GNU/Linux (i386) 3.0, Kernel 2.4.18pre1, PIII
Both systems are running magicfilter 1.2-49, libc6-2.2.4-7
