Dear maintainer
libhdf4 has recently transitioned to a different styling of packaging
and you are receiving this email to modify your package
gnudatalanguage as consequence.
Your package should now depend on libhdf4-dev or libhdf4-alt-dev
instead of the old libhdf4g-dev which is still provided for a smooth
transition and will be dropped after squeeze release.
The major difference among the regular and the -alt flavor is that
the -alt flavor allows third parties programs to both link HDF4 and
current netcdf libraries without API disallineaments and weird subtle
problem with nc data files. You can find more information about that
within the new hdf4 package documentation.
Cheers
