Package: libasound2
Version: 1.0.10+1.0.11rc2-1
Severity: important
When capturing the line input on an intel8x0, only the left channel is
recorded. This is not a problem with the cable or the signal, as unmuting
the line input reveals that both channels contain sound.
This appears to be the problem described in ALSA bug #1658, which is
documented here:
https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=1658
Upstream says this is resolved in 1.0.11rc2; however, experimental's
1.0.10+1.0.11rc2-1 is still only capturing the left channel for me.
