Package: alsaconf
Version: 0.9.8-1
Severity: minor
File: /usr/sbin/alsaconf

Regarding messages produced, you give the good times messages, even in
times of failure.

If the user gets:
)Starting ALSA (version 0.9.6): via82xx-failed failed
Then you should check the return value, so you can say something other than:
) Now ALSA is ready to use.
) For adjustment of volumes, please use alsamixer or gamix.
and especially other than:
) Have a lot of fun!

You should probably tell the user to try dpkg-reconfigure alsa-base
and reboot, or something.
