There's some tedious way to edit it via the readline interface, but an
editor is much easier and directer. Please just let you jump into the
editor, and return immediately after exiting from it again, possibly
showing you a wdiff.
Somewhat related, lisa should show you the override file related to the
whole content of the .changes file too, just for reference, both in
normal mode as in editing mode.
