Package: resolvconf
Version: 1.2
Severity: normal
As I understand subsequent calls of '/sbin/resolvconf -a my-iface' should
append dns information for that interface. In the current implementation
resolvconf just overwrites previous config.
Without that I can't imaging how I supposed to write both 'search' and
'nameserver' clauses into resolv.conf from different ppp scripts - 'nameserver'
is updated from 000resolvconf and 'search' is updated from 0dns-up.
Man page says that too:
-a INTERFACE
Add or update information for network interface INTERFACE.
So as I understand it initially was supposed to be able to append.
Thanks.
