Subject: libgnomedb0-common: gnomedb-components segfaults when selecting a table

Package: libgnomedb0-common
Version: 0.2.96-8
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
I'm trying to run gnome-db as a frontend to mysql databases and have been
unsuccessful over the last few months. The symptoms are always the same:
- I install gnome-db and all dependencies fresh, removed all gconf data
related to gda from my homedirectory first.
- I start gnomedb-fe, define a new mysql datasource
and test the connection. Test succeeds.
- I connect, type in the password, A (correct) listing of the tables
appears.
The following warning is sent to stderr:
Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_signal_disconnect_by_data(): could not find handler
containing data (0x80DF4C0)
- I select a table (no matter which one):
The following warnings appear on stderr:
Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_signal_disconnect_by_data(): could not find handler
containing data (0x80DF4F8)
Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_signal_disconnect_by_data(): could not find handler
containing data (0x8099210)
and I get a message box saying that gnomedb-components segfaulted.
About the same happens with gnome-db2
Am I the only one with this problem?
