Package: smartmontools
Version: 5.38+svn2879-4
Severity: normal

Hi,

I want to install smartmontools on a testing machine
without any smart aware HD. I plan to create a
basic image for cloning; the end systems will have
smart disks.
At installation time the /etc/init.d/smartmoontools
script is launched. It fails but I think that this error
should be ignored.

Starting S.M.A.R.T. daemon: smartd failed!
invoke-rc.d: initscript smartmontools, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error al procesar smartmontools (--install):
el subproceso post-installation script devolvió el código de salida de error 1
