Hi,

choose Edit->Settings, click on one of the User interface colors (works
best when it's not black :P), then on the palette window click on Cancel:
the chosen color turns to black even when that was not intended. Clicking
on Cancel again makes the change permanent on the interface, when the
user never told the program to do so.

Bug present also in previous versions.
