Package: gimmie
Version: 0.2.8-3
Severity: important
Usertags: gnome-python

Hi,

gimmie currently depends on python-gnome2-desktop. However, this
binary package will disappear, so that we can cope with the large
upcoming changes in the list of supported modules upstream.

Instead of depending on it, you need to make gimmie depend only on
the packages corresponding to the modules it is actually using. The
output of a script looking at these dependencies was put on this
page:

http://wiki.debian.org/GnomePythonSplitting

These dependencies may not be entirely accurate, but they should be a
good starting point.

Thanks,

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/541570 in Debian BTS
against the package gimmie. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/547309. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
