Hello!
It would be nice if diff-ext could catch spawning errors of the
diff tool when you press "Compare" and show a nice dialog about which
tool it failed to spawn (and how to configure which tool to use),
instead of silently failing.
(Maybe it would also be better to not default to a kde tool in a gnome
environment, as those are not likely to be installed there. Althoug
gtkdiff or similar suitable alternatives doesn't seem to be available in
Debian, yet.)
