Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: important

calibre is currently not maintainable in Debian. The last uploaded
version does not work with the current Qt4/pyqt packages any more and
causes just crashes (See #533428, #539119, #545858).

The current upstream version (0.6.x) works just fine, but needs Python
2.6. Since that still isn't in Debian (at least not in any useful
state [1]), there is no way how the current and working versions can
be packaged.

Please remove it from Debian for now. I will continue to maintain it
in Ubuntu, and reupload it to Debian once we get Python 2.6.

Thank you!

Martin
