Hello,
After upgrading from version 5.05-1 and restarting my X session,
xscreensaver doesn't work anymore. Nothing happens after the specified
inactivity delay. An "xscreensaver -noslash" process is running as
usual. When started xscreensaver-demo says:
"Warning: The XScreenSaver daemon doesn't seem to be running on display
":0.0". Launch it now?"
then
"Error: The xscreensaver daemon did not start up properly. Please check
your $PATH and permissions."
However a second, new "xscreensaver -noslash" process has been spawned.
Downgrading to 5.05-1 fixes the issue.
