Package: straw
Version: 0.14-1
Severity: normal
Straw will occasionally mark an feed entry as read without a human
ever having laid eyes upon it. This manefests in the following
scenerio:
- User goes to straw, reads all the entries in a feed, and leaves the
one selected.
- He goes out for dinner, drinking, etc.
- The feed is polled, and is updated. The new top entry is
automatically selected and displayed, and is marked as read.
- The same thing happens again.
We now have two new entries, both of which are marked as read. The
newest is currently being shown to the user, but the older on is not,
and has been marked as read without user intervention.
A suggested solution is to deselect all entries when an update
occurs.
