The "-nohints" option is useful, but it's more useful to toggle it
on and off, without restarting the program (and losing the current
game).

Another useful feature is to be able to undo the last movement or
shot, e.g. for trying several variants of a shot and for
implementing a "miss" in snooker.

The attached patches implement both features.

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/526413 in Debian BTS
against the package flying. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/548660. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
