Package: powershell
Version: 0.9-5
Severity: normal

The powershell "online help" indicates that powershell support the "-e"
option for executing a specific program inside the newly created shell.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
$ powershell --help
Usage: powershell [OPTION...]
(...)
Options powershell
  -e, --execute=ARG Start PowerShell with a different program
  -g, --geometry=ARG Sets the window geometry
  -c, --config=ARG Defines an alturnate configuration file
  -t, --title=ARG             Window title text
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

However, this option does not work:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
$ powershell -e mutt
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This command will launch powershell with only a bash prompt.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
$ powershell --execute=mutt
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Using the long option style yields to the same result.

Thanks.

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/138947 in Debian BTS
against the package powershell. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/549396. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
