Package: doc-gnome-hig
Version: 1.0-1
Severity: wishlist
The guidelines miss the following feature common for many apps (I call it
string input dialogs):
Dialogs with one text entry and also (normally) buttons like Cancel and OK.
These should be definitely outlined to be similar in different apps.
E.g., where to place the label denoting the kind of text we enter at the
left or at the top of the text entry. What about icons in such dialogs?
Also it is not 100% clear whether string input dialogs should be considered
as a kind of alert dialogs. (Indeed authentification dialogs with text
entries are considered as alert dialogs).
