Package: anacron
Version: 2.3-9
Severity: normal

anacron currently only checks the AC power status when it is initially
started by its init.d script. Since power status is likely to change
after booting a system this is suboptimal. I can see two possible
approaches to fix this:

* check the power status in /etc/anacrontab for each job before starting it
* install ACPI event scripts that start and stop anacon when the power
  state changes

Wichert.
