Package: jpilot
Version: 0.99.7-0.99.8-pre8-1
Severity: important

The only font that seems to work is
"Host ISO 8859-2 <-> Palm Winbdows1250 (EE)"
But then I get -- of course -- trouble with the umlauts.

All other fonts produce garbage in the message field like this:

otherconv.c:other_to_UTF g_convert_with_iconv error: Invalid byte sequence
in conversion input, buff: ...
charset_p2j: buffer too small - string had to be truncated to ...

(Buffer overflow?)

I would need a Western Europe font (UTF Latin 1)

I have no news since more than a month now.

I suspect the bug was caused because of a database corruption regarding
your last jpilot.log file.
