Package: acpid
Version: 1.0.10-4
Severity: important
After last update, setting brightness with fn+up and fn+down causes keycode 232
and 233 being continuously pressed and released (seen with xev), making system
quite unusable.
Restarting acpid stops the problem until brightness is set again. The
problem seems to be caused by last "update netlink patch to version 6", beacuse
recompiling the package without it resolve the problem.

So this probably was that old acpi-support bug too that has been fixed by
migrating acpi 0.130-1 to squeeze.
