Package: gnome-settings-daemon
Version: 2.24.1-3
Severity: important

*** Please type your report below this line ***

1) On upgrading to testing, I discovered that the media key shortcuts did
   not work
2) Using xev and Xmodmap, I made sure that (e.g.) XF86AudioLowerVolume and
XF86AudioRaiseVolume were being sent by the appropriate key buttons
3) Still no success. On a whim, I tried resetting the shortcut using <space>
   <new key>. Then it worked!
4) On logging out and logging in, old behavior returned
