After the start of Evolution all mail directories seem o be scanned. This is
shown by the status bar. At some random point it stops and displayes a
message like "vFolder for 'This Computer:/Inbox/...' are updated (...)".
Pressing the red (X) button at the right doesn't remove this status bar
message.

Thanks for the update, I'm closing the bug then.
Also, I've seen that you reported a certain number of bugs against
evolution and some of them seem to depend on "your" particular
configuration.
If you're willing to help, I would suggest that you investigate upstream
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/) to see if these bugs have already been
reported. If so, you should mark them as forwarded in the Debian BTS and
if not, you can report them there.
