Hi,
on a kfreebsd-amd64 porterbox, I ended up having duplicated entries for
each kernel, although not with the same texts and the same commands,
with the first set of entries not being able to boot the machine,
leading to “freebsd: command not found” or similar (quoting from memory,
I don't have the machine around right now).
I guess it's due to an obsolete 10_freebsd file, which probably got
replaced with 10_kfreebsd (dpkg -S doesn't find a package for the
former, but find this package for the latter); maybe the old file should
be ignored and/or renamed to 10_freebsd.disabled or whatever so that the
local admin can take appropriate action?
Mraw,
KiBi.
