Package: ikiwiki
Version: 3.141592
Severity: normal

The autoindex plugin modifies the source directory, adding .mdwn files.
I don't think ikiwiki should ever modify content without being directed
to do so. In addition, this interferes with my blog, which uses this to
include all blog posts, which are log/year/month/day/title.mdwn:

[[!inline pages="log/* and !*log/tags* and !*log/sidebar* and !*.gif and !*.png
and !*.sifz" show="10" rootpage="log"]]

autoindex adds log/year.mdwn, log/year/month.mdwn and
log/year/month/day.mdwn, which causes log.mdwn to include each year,
month, day as individual posts. As you can imagine, I only want actual
posts in my RSS feed and not stuff like this:

[[!map pages="log/2009/* and ! log/2009/*/*"]]

As mentioned, autoindex is not enabled by default, and its behavior
is clearly documented.
