Package: xserver-xorg-video-geode
Version: 2.11.1-1~bpo50+1
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system
Hello,
I use LTSP 5 on Debian Lenny. clients are good old PC working perfectly and 4
Thincan DBE62. The Thincan DBE62 randomly freeze several time a day.
The freeze happened randomly, using Iceweasel (mozilla seamonkey), kmail,
openoffice, konqueror, Adobe's flash, ... even with screensaver.
The Thincan DBE-62 has a Geode LX700 microprocessor and 256 MB of ram. Exact
model is DBE62D-700 - see http://wiki.thincan.org/DBE62
We don't use flat-screen (I changed that in the Thincan's bios but it has no
effect).
I have tried various solutions suggested on the web (including from Martin-Eric
Racine blog and Launchpad.net bug reports), even if it has little simlilarity
with my
problem, but nothing works.
The chroot is up to date (last lenny packages), geode driver is the last one
fom backports.org (xserver-xorg-video-geode 2.11.1-1~bpo50+1), but previous
packages were
freezing the system also. The geode-dbg package is also installed.
Here's the last LTSP lts.conf
