Package: virtualbox-ose
Version: 3.1.2-dfsg-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

After a safe-upgrade today virtualbox required a 'modprobe vboxdrv'
which results in the following FATAL error.

FATAL: Error inserting vboxdrv
(/lib/modules/2.6.32-trunk-686/updates/dkms/vboxdrv.ko): Invalid module
format

I was able to reproduce this and yes, there was an ABI change with the last
kernel upgrade. AFAICT 2.6.32 doesn't have a stable ABI yet. However, since the
package version doesn't change dkms won't notice and thus won't recompile the
modules. All you have to do is rebuild it on your own. Sorry about the hassle
but this is unstable for a reason.

I close this report because there is no bug in virtualbox-ose.
