Under "Edit - Preferences - Video - Codecs" it only shows "Theora" and "h261"
codecs.
H263 and H263+ are not supported.

Workaround waiting for Debian rebuild against ffmpeg libraries:
- Install libavcodec-dev and libavutil-dev
and "h263", "h263-1998" and "MP4V-ES" codecs will be added.

Hi,
h263* and mp4v-es video codecs are not free, hence encoders for them are
stripped in libavcodec debian packages (see README.Debian in
libavcodec). Only decoders are not useful at all, because in ekiga the
same codec is used for both directions. A note exists in README.Debian
of ekiga too.
