Package: alsa-source
Version: 1.0.16-1
Severity: important

On receiving the update to alsa-source this morning, I recompiled the
alsa drivers with module assistant. After a reboot, the surround volume
control is gone from both kmix and gnome volume control, as is the "line
in as output" option. Both were present by default with my previous
installation of alsa-source 1.0.15-(1-4).

It can be read that it seems to be a hardware configuration created
from the manufacturer.

Bug closed.
