(Obviously) wbinfo 3.2.5 does not work with libwbclient0 3.4.3.
# wbinfo -p
Ping to winbindd failed
could not ping winbindd!
This occured to me when downgrading from samba 3.4 (with broken print support)
to samba 3.2 and took me several hours to find. :(
I think the dependency of winbind should be fixed to reflect this.
The error message of wbinfo is not helpful either.

You're right. This was actually reported in #550481 which we fixed
with the upload of the 2:3.4.5~dfsg-1 package.
I'm undecided about fixing this problem in lenny too. Let's see if
other team members have an advice about this. This is a non very
invasive change.
