Package: mysql-server
Version: 4.0.24-10
Severity: Important
Starting mysql-server after installation fails with the following error
(after commenting out old_passwords of #321578):
050812 22:19:50 InnoDB: Started
050812 22:19:51 Fatal error: Can't open privilege tables: Table 'mysql.host'
doesn't exist
050812 22:19:51 Aborting
Running mysql_install_db manually fixes the problem.

The problems from these bug reports where caused by the fact that mysql 4.0
did not accept the old_passwords option. From now on the mysql-server will be
updated directly to mysql-server-4.1 leaving no version 4.0 in
testing/unstable.
bye,
