Package: network-manager
Version: 0.7.999-2
Severity: normal
Hi,
Since the upgrade to NM 0.7.999, my Huawei E620 mobile broadband USB modem is
no longer recognized.
This appeared before in daemon.log :
Feb 12 16:29:52 jimmy NetworkManager: <info> (ttyUSB0): found serial port
(udev:GSM hal:GSM)
Feb 12 16:29:52 jimmy NetworkManager: <info> (ttyUSB0): new Modem device
(driver: 'option')
Feb 12 16:29:52 jimmy NetworkManager: <info> (ttyUSB0): exported as
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/usb_device_12d1_1001_noseri
al_if0_serial_usb_0
and now nothing related to /dev/ttyUSB0 appears any more (even though it is
correctly created).
Cheers,
Jeremie

You don't have modemmanager installed, which is required for GSM/3G
networking could you please install modemmanager and try again.
If that doesn't fix your problem, please reopen the bug report or let me
know.
Thanks,
Michael
