Package: gnome-session-bin
Version: 2.28.0-4
Severity: important
File: /usr/bin/gnome-session
I updated my Debian/testing as I normally do a week ago and among other
things a new version of gnome-session-bin was installed. After the
update, I
realized that the window-manager is not started normally anymore.
Now all
windows I open by clicking launchers in the gnome-panel are started
without
normal window frames and I can not move them on the desktop. The system
becomes, well, not unusable, but very hard to use, and definitely not
normally usable.
I do understand that this may be directed towards the wrong package,
but I
am sure you can easily reallocate this report appropriately.
The first few lines from .xsession-errors are:
gnome-session[3319]: WARNING: Unable to find provider 'gnome-wm' of
required component 'windowmanager'
GNOME_KEYRING_SOCKET=/tmp/keyring-oQDCaE/socket

I do not know if any other than the first line are relevant to this
problem, but they might so they are here.
Could you please help me to solve this problem.
Best regards,
Petri Kaurinkoski
