Hi again,
I just submitted a bug report about URLs handled incorrectly by thunderbird.
The problem was well known and there is a solution in debian thunderbird
FAQ. However, I think this default behaviour for URL handling may confuse
many users (like me :-). What about configuring
/etc/mozilla-thunderbird/global-config.js
this way ?
pref("network.protocol-handler.app.http","x-www-browser");
pref("network.protocol-handler.app.https","x-www-browser");
This way URL handling would be much more "normal". The browser is not
necessasirly firefox but what the user wants. Maybe there could be some
cases the user has no web browser, so letting the user choose whether he wants
this behaviour or not could be a good idea.
Just my opinion though ...
Regards,
Robert Derochette

Forgot to close this. The config file used to setup what you select during
configuration is in /etc/mozilla-thunderbird/auto-config.js
Closing this bug now.
