I'm using 'network-manager' for my PPPoE link and I noticed that 'ddclient' is
started twice:

| 1705 ddclient - sleeping for 1150 seconds
| 3080 ddclient - sleeping for 50 seconds
If I'm stopping ddclient service, one process remains running:
| piti:~# /etc/init.d/ddclient stop
| Stopping Dynamic DNS service update utility: ddclient.
| piti:~# /etc/init.d/ddclient status
| Status of Dynamic DNS service update utility: ddclient is not running.
| piti:~# pgrep -fl ddclient
