After upgrading udev from 0.065-1 to 0.066-1, I find that udev does not
create symlinks for my dvdrw & dvd drives. After reading bug#323263,
which seemed similar to my problem, I followed the suggestion there and
ran udevstart. After running udevstart, the following symlinks were
created:

/dev/cdrom1 -> hdd
/dev/cdrw -> hdd
/dev/dvd -> hdc
/dev/dvd1 -> hdd
/dev/dvdrw -> hdd
