..mo files for Mercurial are stored under
/usr/share/pyshared/mercurial/locale/, but they belong in /usr/share/locale.
Fixing this would involve editing the build process (setup.py script or
makefile or debian/rules) and gettext setup code. Upstream may or may not
want to comply with FHS; I’ve seen that the templates are stuffed into the
Python package too and that your packaging changes that.
Fixing this would also suppress an ImportWarning.
