I use bash as shell and have
alias rm='rm -i'
in my ~/.bashrc file.
When I use pdfnup, the script asks me to confirm
the deletion of every single temporary file due to the use of rm and
the alias above; which is arguably not the expected behavior.
Changing the first line of /usr/bin/pdfnup from
#! /bin/bash
to
#!/bin/sh
fixes the problem (note that I am not expert enough to check whether
the script actually makes use of bashisms).
