Package: libpam-mount
Version: 1.10-1
Severity: normal
With a passphrase encrypted volume, mount.crypt no longer works.
The command:
mount.crypt -v -o cipher=aes /dev/mapper/vg0-stuff /mnt/stuff
(enter the passphrase)
results in:
command: [cryptsetup] [-c] [aes] [--key-file=-] [-h] [plain] [create]
[_dev_mapper_vg0_stuff] [/dev/mapper/vg0-stuff]
and then fails (at mount or fsck with that option).
Running:
cryptsetup -c aes create _dev_mapper_vg0_stuff /dev/mapper/vg0-stuff
(enter the passphrase)
works fine.
Regards,
Giuliano.

Hello,
closing this bug since the current behaviour is wanted and documented, plus
you can always specify another hash function to use with the config file.

Bastian
