Package: feh
Version: 1.3.4-2
Severity: minor

The man page should add that
       <, > In place editing, rotate the image 90 degrees left/right.
    *** Warning: overwrites files the moment it is pressed, with no
       backup even. Not lossless: I noticed gamma was even changed
       upon a second run to rotate back.
    ***chmod 444 your precious files before running feh... wait, su(1) nobody
    444: rotating doesn't work and there is no error message.

       <CTRL+DELETE>
            Delete the currently viewed file and remove it from the filelist
    ***Can't there be some readonly mode to protect against any removals?

Hi,

in order to clean up BTS I'm closing this bug report. The man page is
now clear about the usage of the keys. For the backup issue: Upstream
and Debian maintainer (me) agree that the behaviour to really delete a
file if <Ctrl>+<Entf> is pressed.

Kind regards and thanks for reporting this bug

      Andreas.
