Package: libtool
Version: 1.4.3-11
Severity: wishlist
In order to make it easier for packages to comply with the new
requirements of Debian policy in version 3.6.0, I think libtool should
pass "-Wl,-z,defs" to gcc when linking shared libraries. (Though
maybe there should be a way to disable this in the rare cases where it
isn't possible to resolve all symbols at link time.)
