After installation of Debian "etch" (testing), the wireless lan card
Intel 2200BG does not work.
WPA encryption is used with wpa_supplicant.
The used firmware is version 3.0.
The WLAN card is detected as eth2.
eth0 is the eth1394
eth1 is the Gigabit LAN

The current implementation of wpasupplicant works fine without setting
of ESSID in /etc/network/interfaces.
