Since 2.2.1-1 amule loops indefinitely upon start.
Running as "strace amule" shows a loop on
poll([{fd=5, events=POLLIN}, {fd=7, events=POLLIN}], 2, 19) = 0
read(7, 0x2719304, 4096) = -1 EAGAIN (Resource temporarily unavailable)
where fd=5 is a non-existent /usr/lib/charset.alias file, and fd=7 is
/tmp/.X11-unix/X0 socket
