Package: ia32 installer
Version: Potato

When installing Debian Potato on a system with multiple SCSI host
adapters of different types (using different drivers), Bad Things Happen
and install is rendered infeasable after loading scsi modules. After
some investigation it appeared that advansys.o was being loaded before
sym53c8xx.o had finished initializing, and this aparamntly caused some
conflicts. I had to remove the advansys host adapter in order to install
potato.

I would suggest that modules be loaded carefully rather than quickly.

These bugs seem closely related to modconf's use in boot-floppies
which is not relevant anymore.
