Package: kernel-package
Version: 12.033

The local debian revision string, supplied to make-kpkg via
the --revision parameter in conjunction with the 'configure' target
is overwritten by the default "10.00.Custom" revision string when
make-kpkg is then called with the kernel_image target.

The resulting kernel_image package incorporates the
default "10.00.Custom" string in the package name instead of the
string supplied via the --revision parameter.

After calling:

  make-kpg --revision local_revision configure

the correct 'local_revision' string is written to:

/usr/src/linux/debian/changelog

However, after calling:

  make-kpkg --bzimage kernel_image

the 'local_revision' string in debian/changelog is replaced by the
default "10.00.Custom" string and it this that is used in the
package build.

Current kernel: Linux Snappa 2.6.26 #1 Sat Jun 26 19:01:06 BST 2010
i686 GNU/Linux

Current libc6: Version: 2.11.2-2

        Please call:
 make-kpg --revision local_revision --bzimage kernel_image

Anything you used on the configure call should be duplicateds in
 the next one.
