Hello,

In Debian bug #559043, you request that the pidgin-LaTeX plugin be added to the
pidgin-plugin-pack package. That would be (in my opinion) inappropriate for the
package maintainer to do, as that plugin is not part of the upstream source
package. As the person in charge of upstream, I find it unlikely that the
plugin will ever become part of our source package. The plugin is maintained
and developed independently with no involvement from either the Purple Plugin
Pack developers or the Pidgin developers. Given this, it would be much better
if pidgin-LaTeX were packaged independently of the Purple Plugin Pack.

John
I completely agree.
