Package: lxc
Version: 0.7.1-1
Severity: normal
In debian/rules, there's this piece:
# Install liblxc in out private area, for now, until it's stable.
LIBDIR="\$${prefix}/lib/lxc"
DEB_CONFIGURE_EXTRA_FLAGS=--libdir=$(LIBDIR)
but configure script uses a subdir named "lxc" in $libdir to
store various support files. So the resulting path becomes,
for example, /usr/lib/lxc/lxc/lxc-init. But this executable
is required to be present in at least some containers, and
the whole situation suggests to create wrong hierarchy in
containers, which will be broken when libdir will be fixed.
This pathname should be changed before squeeze is out.
Initially I wanted to submit a minor bug, but I think it
deserves an RC status because of the above.. still leaving
it as "normal".
Thanks!
